Avril, are you going to those places just with the 4 of you? You are still a child in those countries, so drinks are the least of your problems if you don’t have an adult. In France and Germany you can drink legally if with a parent (or an adult with parental responsibility), when you are 16 you can drink wine and beer. I have never seen anyone ask for ID, we don’t even have id in the UK, it’s how old you look and act that generally acts as the guide.

I think that you are totally and completely mad, going to Europe at 15 and asking about drinking, suggesting fake id. You really are asking for trouble. What do you know about spiked drinks? Find out. What will 4 drunk kids do when things go wrong? How will you look after your id when drunk? How will you look after yourself? You really sound far too young to be out drinking. I suggest that you check your travel insurance as well, this probably excludes any cover under the influence of alcohol, however old you are.

Agreed, this really does not sound like a good idea. Why don’t you go on a trip in your own country first, enjoy yourself, find out what you as a group like to do, and then come over here when you’re over 18?

I’d NEVER consider letting a group of 15/16 year olds loose in a foreign country without a responsible adult. Don’t even think of drinking…

I agree that drinking is the least of your worries.I mean you could even be deined entry to a country because your under 18 traveling by yourself unless you have letters from your parents allowing you to travel.I would also imgaine there is a legal min age to check into hotels??I agree that you guys should go on an orgainzed teen tour of some sort…-howie
