India---

Hello, i was wondering if anyone here has ever been to India?
i’m planning to go with a buddy of mine for a month to just “live” …how can i call it… escape western civilization and just live and go wherever i will.
have an adventure of sorts.
now i know a ticket would be around 1k-return | per person .
but what i would like to know is the living costs in there… lets say around new delhi and up to nepal, or would it be more realistic to just stick with india?
we have about 5k canadian for the both of us.
we are not spoiled so bumming out IS an option and living in the jungle with the monkeys is as well.
If you can live like a bum, then of course 5K is a decent amount of money. Travelling inside India is fairly cheap and living in guest homes is very reasonable. eating and drinking is a suspect but one has to be careful.
Brushing aside the problems of poverty, dust, heat and roadside food, one can really enjoy the beauty of India.
Feel free to ask !!!!
