Positano… ahhh the sea. It was so beautiful. Even though it was cloudy and a bit rainy throughout, there are no words that I can use to describe the undoubtedly breath-taking coast of Italia. The rough and rugged black sand meets the tranquil and serene mediterranean sea. Even though it was not 85 degrees and sunny outside, I still took a swim, and the water was so warm and beautiful. It is good to stay a few days here. If i could go back, I would definetly go in the summer. It must be even more enjoyable, but may be very crowded. This quaint town is nestled right in a coastal enclave. You can still even see and hike up to the old lighthouses or warning signals from earlier times. Whatever. They look like miniature castles and they are dotted all over the coast. Before you walk down to the water, spend an hour or two embracing the little town. It is interesting how it is on a slope, and litterally sends you on a path straight down to the beach. There are many shops that sell everything from swim wear to the hottest in italian leather boots. I highly recomend visiting positano for a quiet vacation.
