Italy to Malta
Wed, 04/07/2010 - 07:45
Hi wanted to know the best way to get to Malta from southern Italy. Is ferry the best way?.
Also I’ll be in Greece beforehand so im thinking the ferry from maybe Corfu to Bari or is there a better way?
Just looking for the cheapest way, thanks.
Are you coming back to Italy just to catch a Ferry to Malta? If so it would probably be better just to fly from Athens to Malta. I don’t think ferries run from Bari to Malta (if they do it would be a loooooong trip). If you are touring southern italy (i.e sicily) the ferries run fairly often from Catania and Syracuse. High speed feries do the trip in about 90 minutes. You can book ferry tickets online, but it’s not really necessary
“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list”
its better to get there by plane
ryanair now has a good amount of flights to malta from Italy. They even fly Bari – Malta non stop. They also fly Pisa, Venice and Bologna to Malta.
Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Mostar, Sarajevo, Bol, Makarska, Florence, Málaga, Seville, Barcelona, Ibiza Town
here’s a link to Italy-Malta low-cost flights: http://www.skyscanne…
Thanks guys ill check it out.
