Hey guys,

Get out of the line at the eurail aid at all the major italian stations.

Go to the Automatic machines
select English.
select your voyage, and number of people

when it asks for a eurail pass number et al/etc just type in “GPASS”
Make sure your pass is validated for that day (if it isn’t a continuous pass)

the next question (in Italian) just select the default, I think it’s some sort of discount.

I did this (typing in Gpass) after waiting in line once, and looking at what was printed on my reservation/ticket, I had no problems at all with the conductors/inspectors.

At the major stations, you can even change your (first class) reservation at a dedicated terminal (green).
