Just a few basic question on traveling in Italy. I’ll be going for the first time in August (about two weeks). I’d like to see a variety of places which cover most of the country. Is train travel inexpensive? Is it easy to get around? Are trains as reliable as they are in other parts of Europe (Germany). How long would it take to get from one end of Italy to the other… or side to side?
