Krakow/Auschwitz
Tue, 04/24/2012 - 10:20
Looking for advice from someone who has visited Auschwitz. We’ll be in Krakow for about two days, mainly so that we can visit Auschwitz. There is two of us and we’d like to do a tour in English, but I’m finding the instructions on the website confusing, especially since the rules change for visitors from April-October, and it says that we have to order a guide, but some of the options are listed for groups of up to 10, or 11-30, so I don’t know what we do as two people?
I also assume that we’d still have to arrange our own transportation from Krakow to Auschwitz?
If someone has experience visiting Auschwitz in the summer I’d appreciate any tips/advice!
I am leaving from Toronto with $7000 for 71 days

You can find a guide and tour very easy once you arrive in Krakow. Just go to any hostel or hotel.

If you decide to go on your own, staff at your hotel/hostel or at a tourist information booth (there’s usually one at or near the train station) will help you.
