I was wondering if there are any punk/alt folks out in LA that could give me a heads up to the good bars, clubs, shows, whatnot – I’m going out there for a show in August, staying in the hostel in Santa Monica…
2nd thing…I was looking into working in New Zealand. I was just wondering what the social scene is like? I love mtn climbing, diving, snowboarding, etc…but I also love drinking and and watching live bands, and am also a bit, um, concerned, about the "mating habits" (for lack of a better word) in New Zealand – I don’t wanna get lonely!…Is their enough to keep a girl occupied for a year or so? Any info would be much appreciated! Thanks!
