All of you have been great with answering my questions so far. I’m leaving in about 32 hours (auuuugh!) for my monthlong trip (Slovenia, Paris, Spain, and Portugal) and need a couple of yays/nays about certain items of clothing. Here’s my "definitely bring" list:
3 tanks (I live in these, plus Spain will be HOT)
)
2 tshirts (one worn on the plane; one doubling as a pj top)
1 pair khaki shorts
1 pair khaki pants (worn on plane)
1 pair black capri pants (my club apparel
1 sarong (a skirt, towel, blanket, curtain, kitchen sink, woo-hoo!)
1 light long-sleeved shirt
1 zip-up hooded fleece (worn on plane)
1 waterproof jacket (folds into pouch)
(and underwear and socks and shoes and things like that)
Now, for the questionable items:
1 black acrylic cardigan sweaterthought it might be a good idea to have something nicer to wear over my tank tops at night if I go out and it’s a little chilly-light sundress – one of those long, breezy batik ones that I bought at a market stand in Florence. Cool and weighs next to nothing
-second pair of shorts. These are "board shorts" and would be worn as pj bottoms and beach coverups.
Please respond ASAP- pre-trip worry-warting has started to set in!!! Thanks!
