hi, me and a couple of friends are going backpacking on eurotrip in the summer and its a small 1 for like 2 weeks. We are from egypt and we are going to start the trip with a boat to cut down the expenses to greece. so the question is, what are the best place to go to start from there and how much money would it cost.

here is a route me and my friend thought of regarding the expeneses coz we dono anything about it. Starting from (cairo to berlin using a plane , amesterdam, brussels, paris bern, milan, florence, rome, tirana and finally athens then alexandria using a ship. i really need to know expenses of such a trip like train tickets, flights, nightlife and places to visit. thx

Some kind of railpass will probably save money for this trip. You can find out a little about them by clicking on the “rail tickets” Pull down on the “bookings” tab at the top of this page. Use the cost of a 15 day consecutive day global rail pass for a rough estimate of what you’ll spend on rail, ferry, bus and plane trips between European cities. You probably won’t want to buy that specific pass, but it’s a good starting point for your budget.

but a rail pass is like 350 dollars and i need to know how much is a ticket from like germany to netherlands. btw the prices on the tickets in skyscanner.com seems kinda low i mean, 177 euros for a ticket from egypt to germany? thts really low, hows that
