I really need help with two things so I’ll post both here and see what I get.

Flight: I’m going from Sevilla to Sheffield to visit a friend on August 4th. She says that EMA and MHT are the closest to her but the flights cost a fortune. A cheap alternative ($90 to $200) is going Sevilla to London then take the train for some 4 hours to Sheffield (I have 10 days to kill so really I don’t mind a bit of a long ride). However I have a little problem with the flight time.
Can anyone help me find a flight that leaves earlier than 1pm from Sevilla to anywhere close to Sheffield around the same price range?

Bus Tours: I’ll be alone from August 6th to 16th and will be spending all of it in the UK. My one worry is being bored and annoyed of planning things to do and booking hostel. I hope I’ll meet people to go around with but at the same time I want to do some planning.
I get in London late on August 6th and was hoping to take a bus tour:
1) within two days (6th, 7th or 8th) that will last 7 days or
2) take one tour for 3-4 days then get on another one for 3 days as long as I get back by august 15th.
I looked at Haggis and Backpackertours but looks like they all leave on Mondays.
So…. if you can help me find a tour it’d be great. I’d like to know upfront what the whole thing will cost me. Keep in mind I’m 23 so something geared towards younger people would be first option.

Thanks a bunch! I’ll keep looking and hopefully something comes up.

How about Ryanair to Liverpool? www.ryanair.com

Liverpool to Sheffield with www.nationalexpress…. Not sure if Megabus serve this route, but if they do, they’d probably be cheaper. www.megabus.com

if you are going to take the train for some 4 hours to Sheffield, you might want to consider just getting a britain rail pass – so you don’t need to worry about buying tickets for any other train trips you’ll be taking. also, for cheap flights definitely check out RyanAir!

One train trip won’t justify a railpass, but if you’re planning additional rail travel, it might work out.  If you don’t have a railpass, try to buy the ticket in advance from http://www.nationalr… as tickets purchased two weeks in advance are sometimes cheaper in the UK.
