Ljubljana, places to go ?
Tue, 05/23/2006 - 02:04
Hi, I’m from London and I’m flying to Slovenia on a business trip. I’ve got almost everything arranged, and I’ve already booked my ticked, from Easy Jet, using the search engine of lessno.com. I’m 29 but I’ve never been in Ljubljana before, where I’ll be throughout my stay..I will have very little spare time at my disposal, and I want to have a look around the city. So I was wondering if you could tell me of some fun places to go and maybe some historical sites to visit there.. and if you’re local i’d be very grateful if you could suggest some trendy bars or night clubs to have a bit of the night life too. Thanks!
The tourism office has free walking tours of town. Not bad. The castle overlooking the city is also a good sight.
Hi Stevie,
There are many interesting places u can visit in Ljubljana and u don’t really need much spare time to see a lot, because it’s a relatively small town. I recommend the Ljubljana Castle and perhaps u can take a trip on a tourist boat. Try visiting this site:
http://www.ljubljana…
it’ll help you make up your mind on where to go and what to do.
As far as the night clubs are concerned – the decision depends on what kind of music u like. If u’re into dance music visit Fun factory but keep in mind that it’s quite far from the city center. If u like R&B the most popular clubs are Baqus and Global.
I hope this helped. And have fun here in Ljubljana
ljubljana is far the boring place on Earth u can go to..everything closes at 5 pm..too boring..
