Does anyone know the quickest and cheapest route from Ljubljana to Zadar?

I am happy to travel at night as this saves money on night accomodation. I will be travelling mid-week in July.

All suggestions welcome! And links would be great.

Train would be 11 hours with a couple of connections — certainly not my choice. I’d look for a cheap flight. Use www.whichbudget.com to see which low cost airlines fly which routes and check our “cheap flights” forum for more help.

Cheapest possibilities I see are one-way to Vienna with Austrian Air, then onward to Zadar with Skyeurope — on separate tickets. Otherwise, I see $386 with an afternoon + overnight layover in Pula (Onetravel.com, JAT+Croatia Air)
