I am back again, asking the same old question…hoping for a better answer each time…haha

Does anybody recommend a city/town outside of Munich, no more than 15-30 minutes by S-bahn, to stay?

We would love to stay in Munich, but there are towns like Starnberg, Rosenheim, etc…which are just as charming, and better views of lakes, mountains, etc.

So, i am looking for towns, and possibliy the name of a hostel/gasthaus for about 7 people?
