London to Luxemborg
Sat, 07/21/2007 - 10:26
Hello,
I am told that there are a lot of low cost carriers going from London – Luxemborg. I checked opodo and the cheapest I see is 400 USD through VLM airlines.
The office in Luxemborg indicated that I should not be paying more than 35 GBP.
Does anyone know of all the low cost airlines servicing London to Luxemborg?
I am leaving from US and traveling for 11 days

Cheapest possible looks like £75.
Thanks Don,
I was really hoping for a cheaper flight so by the time I spend restaurants and accomodation, I didn’t want to spend over 500 USD.
Let me speak to them and see if I can go over next month instead of this month.

I go to Luxembourg 2-3 times a year and the deal that usually works for me is to take Ryanair from London Stansted to Frankfurt Hahn. I use hire cars from this point but there is a coach service www.easybycoach.com that will get you into the city nice n cheap.
Hope that’s helpful to you.
Hello Tommo,
Can you give me an indication on the total amount that would cost in its entirety. I only have a meeting for a possible opportunity for half a day but was hoping to stay there for 2-3 days for sight seeing.
Since this is just a opportunity call, I didn’t want to spend too much money as I have to extend my stay in London and know quite well how expensive London can become.

Pretty cheap I would say. The best flight I have got to Hahn in the very recent past is £48 return (including taxes) and the coach can cost as little as €5 each way if you book in advance.
