We will be travelling by car in Ireland this fall. As we travel from town to town, I would expect that we’ll make several stops along the way in route to our next destination. Assuming we take common-sense precautions and lock the car and don’t keep any valuables in plain site, will our belongings be safe in the car while we are out exploring the sites? I’ve not heard that the Irish countryside is laiden with thiefs, but just thought I’d inquire.
