Mallorca - Balearic Islands
Sun, 04/03/2005 - 22:54
My soon to be boss in Germany has invited me to her bachelorette party (vacation!) in Mallorca from june 26th to july 3rd. I had not heard of it until now – I found some good pictures and it looks so beautiful! Anyone been – whats it like? I mean is it just a big party place or is there some interesting sites to see? Also is it expensive for food/ drinks ect (the hotel is already paid for) Thanks!
MALLORCA IS AWESOME!!!
im living in barcelona now so I was recently in mallorca with friends for 4 days, and absolutely everything there is interesting and awesome. I would recommend renting a car in Palma de Mallorca (esp if that is where you are starting out)..then heading out along the northwest coast through port A’ndtrax and then along to gorgeous little towns. Your drive will already be worth it , as most of the time you are on the edge of cliffs, passing by mysterious castles, and stopping along the way to hike, swim, eat, whatever. We went to palma, port d/andratx, we hiked an uninhabited island called cala dragonera, then headed to valdemossa, deia, cala de deia (not to miss), soller, lluc monastery, polenca and drive through terife. The place is ridiculous. Not really expensive in most places, buy oranges in deia…they’re the best.
