That really depends on what you plan to buy.

It still depends on what you want to buy…

Quote:
food,
As in food from markets and street vendors? Or food from pubs and cheap cafes? or food from restaurants? Or food from good restaurants?
Quote:
transportation,
As in subways, trams and buses for local transportation? Or city to city transportation? Or total transportation including airfare?
Quote:
alcohol
As in local beer and local wine? Or more exotic beer and wine? Or hard liquor and mixed drinks? Plus it varies significantly from country to country.
I’d plan on $100 per day for food from markets and street vendors with the occasional pub grub or cafe, hostel dorm, local transportation by subway, tram and bus (no taxis), 2 to 3 beers a day, laundry and misc.

If my lodging, airfare, and transportation between cities were already covered, I’d want 50 to 75 Euros per day, realizing that sometimes I might do better than that, and realizing that my tastes are more for local food and drink. If I had to add in-city transportation, it would depend how far out my lodging is. If I’m staying city-centre, then I’d budget very little; if further out, then I’d have to budget daily commute costs, plus to any sights not walk-able. However, I’ve rarely spent more than 75 Euros for a full day anywhere in Europe—if you don’t count nice restaurant meals out in Scandinavia.

Nice thing about your itinerary is that you’ll only need to get 2 more currencies once you’re in Europe.

for me its mainly food from pubs cheap cafes and restaurants, and i guess a cheap snack now and then during the day. transportation would be local city transportation. i have my flights/ eurail pass already. just taxis/subways/buses that sort of thing. alcohol would be beer and hard liquor and mixed drinks. i dont know how expensive it is to go out clubbing every night in europe + drinking at those clubs which is why im asking. thanks!

Unless you plan to drink a lot every night, then 50-75 EUR should handle you. If however you decide to only go to the most expensive clubs, then you’ll easily blow through 50-75 Euros in a few hours. Stick to non-touristed pubs, watch for specials, and limit your clubbing to stay within your budget.
