Hi all,
Im going to cuba for 8 weeks in may, ive got accomodation already booked for 6 weeks of that time. But not for 2. If anyone has been to cuba and could recommend how much spending money i should take it’d be a weight off my mind to know. i was thinking around£700? "Fallingnow"- you may hear from me when im in cuba.
Thanks.

Yah, i’ve been to Veradero….if i were you i did save up a lil bit of more money(prolly around 350-400 US) and go down there for a week and stay in an all inclusive resort! U’ll find alot of Canadians and europeans there….u should have a blast…and it’ll be a week where u wont have to worry about food, drinks, alchole, acommadations etc…all u’ll need is a few bucks for tipping and such!

Your not the first to recommend going there, it seems to be a great place from what ive researched about it, i think i’ll spend a week there if i can. Im travelling alone, so anywhere where there’s people i can socialise with is a priority!! do you know any links or anything about resorts u’d recommend? Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

the bahia principe has changed names…i THINK it’s called the playa varadero now. i agree with canadian john, its a great property. varadero is beautiful, the beaches are great. if you want an all inclusive hotel thats cheaper than that one, the villa cuba is good and so is the palma real (but that ones about 2 blocks from the beach)

Cuba is amazing … but be savvy – prices rise one hundred percent for tourists.
