Just wanted to get a new topic up here about money in SEA. If you are just going to post that I should search the boards, please don’t. I am trying to get my finances nailed down here before I leave, and know I won’t be able to rely on solely my ATM card, so what should I take? I know I can get cash advances in the major cities, but of course I don’t want to have a ton of cash on me all the time. Do traveler’s cheques work well in places like Laos, Indonesia, and Cambodia? I’ve never actually had to use them before, I just don’t think most places in those countries would accept them right? What should I have with me other than the ATM card? Thanks ya’ll.
