Montreal
Wed, 08/09/2006 - 17:20
Any info on Montreal(Canada) would be great,
like the night life, restaurants,
parks, museums etc. etc. etc. And how about the weather
in Feb/March
Thanks

be prepared for cold, especially in February!! snowstorms too.
It depends on what you’re looking for…
For the nightlife there’s many pubs on St-Denis st….starting with the St-Sulpice, St-Ciboire, Mère à Boire… great people, near UQAM, one of 4 university in montreal. You can also try the Crescent st., wich is more of a Jet-Set one..Brutopia is a great pub but on that Street there’s many nightclubs (but they’re high class clubs..= expensive on alcool and cover)…
On St-Laurent st., you will find great restaurants & nightclubs
for other nightclubs, try the 737, Diable Vert, Belmont
Finally… St-Catherine’s st. is great for a good night walk… plenty of animation… and u should not miss the Foufounes electric… a great old rock bar!!
For your parks and museum visits… try the Mount Royal park…great view of montreal’s downtown, and the parc lafontaine…
On St-Catherine’s st… the Musee des Beaux Arts has good stuff to see many different expositions all year long
Hope you’ll enjoy your trip
Amicalement Vôtre… Frank!
thanks a lot guys,
and I will enjoy it!
It’s one of the best cities around if your looking for nightlife.
