We just came back from the Huntington Hall B&B Murder Mystery Weekend in N. Carolina, and it was so much fun! I haven’t had such a fun weekend in I don’t know how long. I took my husband for his 30th Bday, and it was an absolute blast. The inn was an old house built in the 1880s, the innkeepers were so nice, and did a great job in their roles. We stayed in character throughout Fri night, Sat breakfast, and Sat night from 7:30 when we all went to dinner until the mystery was solved.
I didn’t solve it, but I sure had fun trying. My character was a southern belle, married to a wealthy CEO of a winery, and boy was she/I a b*tch! I had way too much fun playing that role.
Anyway, I highly recommend it for a weekend getaway. Their website is http://www.bed-breakfast-inn.com.
It’s $300 per couple for two nights, including tax, snack and wine reception Fri night, breakfast both mornings (yummy southern cooking) and dinner out Sat night.
Wouldn’t it be fun to get a group of Eurotrippers together for a murder mystery??!
Tell them "Corrine" (Dana) sent you if you call! They were so great, I want them to know I’m recommending them.
