I agree that travel is about breaking down boundaries.
But using a phrase like the one that was deleted will surely build barriers rather than understanding and friendship.
“Moving past censorship” is all very well but a phrase like that is rather divisive to say the least.
If you are a longtime lurker, then you know that the Pub is the place for more controversial topics, language, etc.

There really are no “new mods” here. Everyone who mods is a longtime Eurotrip member.

Short of anything illegal, we don’t really care what is posted in the pub.  That’s the whole point so as to keep some sort of order in the travel forums.  So yes, we censor offensive (and more importantly off-topic) posts in areas specific to European Travel.  I mean, come one, did those remarks really have anything at all to do with european travel?

We are a community and just like every community, progressive or otherwise, we have rules.
