MSNBC/Budget Travel newsletter has a report today that they are doing away with the Europass beginning in January and starting a new ‘select pass’ option that will be easier to use, more flexible, and quite a bit less than the Eurailpass. And will include more countries than the current Europass. Best of all, each ‘day’ will start at 8pm the previous day to allow for night travel. Will only be available in the flexi mode, not continuous travel.
