Nightlife in Belgrade, Serbia, Ex-Yugoslavia
Thu, 03/10/2005 - 20:41
Hey people, if you wanna’ know cool Night Life places in Belgrade, here are some of them:
Clubs:
Plastic (Ex-Mondo) – usually DJs play techno and nu electro music
Basement (Ex-Zvezda) – same as Plastic, but smaller club
Akadmija – this is probably the most underground place, you can listen everything from techno, psy trance, breakbeat, d’n’b, to rock, punk, metal, reggae and rap.
KST – usually you can here some rock, metal and 70s-80s music sound. Also there is summer Open Air garden.
Pubs:
Tramvaj (Ex-Zagubica)
Optimist
Turtle Pub
Irish Pub
Bridge Pub
Riff
Bre
Moloco
Ili Ili
In Belgrade there are really big house, techno, psy trance and metal scenes and some small reggae, rap, d’n’b, rock and punk scenes. Most of the people listen mix of traditional Folk Balkan music with some Greek and Turkish elements but it’s total trash and I don’t recommend it.
This year in July in or second largest city Novi Sad there’s gonna’ be 5th 4day “EXIT” Festival which is the largest music festival in Southeast Europe. It will be inside the big “Petrovaradin” fortress on the Danube River with more then 20 stages.

So, that’s it…

great tip! I will definitely be making it to Belgrade as soon as possible!
