Nightlife for Prague, Berlin, and Krakow?
Wed, 04/13/2005 - 15:42
I will be in Berlin, Krakow, and Prague at the end of May. Does anybody have an specific names of places to go while in these cities. I would like to know the best bars/clubs to go to as far as the hottest or "it" place to be.
Thanks

I have done a search on the forum, but most topics about my question just say how there is good nightlife, not about specific places. It would be great to get some names.
please hurry i am leavin for berlin this week and would love some suggestions
In Prague, I would definately go to Dahab. It is a giant teahouse/bar/lounge/restaurant with a Middle Eastern theme. There are morroccon pillows and hookahs all around. It’s definately a chill out place for some nice drinks – not really a high energy place but a good place to relax.
here is the website:

berlin: tresor (funky techno club in old bank vault…v.impressive)
matrix (check out www.matrix-berlin.de…)
Krakow: brilliant clubbing if you know where to find it… prozac is a student favourite, doesnt usually get busy before 2 am though, along with club fusion, which plays kinda commercial dance along with the occasional random bryan adams remix to remind you you are in eastern europe!
Prague: crap clubbing in my opinion…stick to bars, tho theres a great little jazz club just off the old town square on the opposite side to the clock if thats your thing! hope this helps!
