Greetings from Florida. There will be two of us traveling to Germany/Munich 21-25 or so during Okt-Fest, and would appreciate any info on rooms, hotels what not in the Munich area.
I know that the U-Bahn connects every little village within 20 miles, and each village has and infinite # of Gasthauses or BB or Hostels…but since i have always stayed in Munich during my trip, i figure the Munich rooms rates are raised, and most likely sold out.
Does anybody offer a suggestion on Where, and with the fastest access to the city and if any rooms are still available?
We land early morning in Frankfurt 21st and then ICE over to Munich by Noon…and would prefer to spend the day drinking rather than hunting down a place to stay!
Cheers.
