Can anyone tell me exactly where in Munich Oktoberfest takes place?? I’m hoping to go either the weekend of the 16th or the following weekend…i’ll be going alone perhaps but any and all tips for a first timer would be great! btw, i’m from texas, usa… thanks!

Easy rule-of-thumb to remember. Octoberfest always starts at about 1030 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday in Sept. It ends the first Sunday in Oct. (about 2300 p.m.)

First Trip to Ireland / Scotland

My wife grew-up over near Westheimer and a bunch of Oriental restaurants… Her sister & family, as well as her mom & dad – now live East of Houston (Baytown)…
