Hi everyone
Ive left it way to late to get a decent priced hostel over Oktoberfest so i wanted to know if anyone knows where else would be ok to stay ie a town out of munich. I’ve looked for some but i really dont know much about German geography so i don’t have much to go on, i’ve looked at Augsburg and read its about a 45 min train ride to Munich which is fine with me but just wanted to know if there was any other towns a bit closer i should be looking at.

Have you looked at www.the-tent.com? It looks like they still have availability during Oktoberfest (and it’s our backup plan) and is in Munich.
