I’ve been reading that they have restricted how loud music can be played up until a certain time and they are trying to cut back on the more party oriented songs for more traditional. I was there in 2003. Can anyone confirm that this was the case last year.

Yes, they played the &quotarty" music after 6p last year. Not necessarily because of the noise though. Just trying to keep the crowds more low key during the day.

They tend to always keep some of the "staples" in party music during the evenings. The bands in the Hofbrau zelt, Weinzelt, Paulaner, & Hippodrom still crank it up pretty good with the aforementioned songs & more after 1800 hrs. I have only heard "Country Roads" a few times in the past 3 to 4 years. They played it alot more in the 90’s…

The Lowenbrau really overdoes it with Country Roads. We hear it at least twice and sometimes 3 times a day! We’re sick of it after 6 days. I hope to hear lots more of Viva Colonia this year! Das simmer dabei das ist prima……. wooohooo, can hardly wait!

I do not hang in the Lowenbrau Zelt much. However, I have heard that they do play it quite often…
