Hi,

I was really happy once my credit union started up their oline-banking services since it’d be an easy way to keep track of balances and make creditcard payments.

I just recently downloaded a new version of Netscape and for some reason didn’t bother getting the extra-secure version. When I tried to log on to my banking service, I got this message:

You are currently using a version of Internet Browser with only 40 bit Security Encryption.

We require that all users who access the internet banking system use a 128 bit encrypted browser.

My question IS (finally) do browsers in Europe have this encryption? I ask this because I think when I was downloading Netscape, it mentioned something about this secure version being available only to Canadian and American residents.

Sorry this is so long-winded, but if anyone has a clue about this, please fill me in.

Cheers
Kirsty
