I just am throwing this out there because I certainly am not seeing enough chatter around here as we approach the 8 week mark. What, honestly, will be your average daily Mass consumption. Maybe the festzelt you’re in will determine the amount of fun you’re having, hence the QTY consumed; so list your favorite tent, and base your consumption off of that!!!!! Game on.

Well…unfortunately, for the past two years, I always end up going at the last minute to oktoberfest and wind up in the Hofbrauhaus tent….not that I’m complaining cuz I still have a kick a$$ time! I try to pace my Mass consumption but I lose count after the 3rd one!

It used to be 8 to 10 per day for me… I averaged 8 to 9.5 I would say. However, that number is easily half since 2003… I usually enjoy 4 or 5 Mas per day at the fest, then a few half litres on the town…

I am leaving from EWR with $4000 for 9 days

Scottenhamel is my favorite as well for atmousphere and fun, but Augusteiner for bier and food……. My average is in the neighborhood of 10 per day…. I knew fraternity life would be good for something, hahaha.

I am not certain that I have a clear-cut favorite tent. I love the Schottenhamel, Hippodrom, Weinzelt, Hacker, and Augustiner in no particular order…

Any tips on how to get in those other tents without reservations?? Best time of day to stand in line??

Yes, I have heard that one word before: perhaps this year I will be there during a weekday.

Or get in line before 8:00am on a Saturday…. Remember, where there’s a will, there’s a way.
