My friends and I are planning a month and 1/2 trip to Europe in May and June…we’re not buying a Eurail pass. Rather we’ll be taking cheap airline flights to the major countries and cities we would like to visit (specifically, Paris – Barcelona – Rome, then Milan – Paris). My question is, what are point-to point rates like? We want to have maximum flexibility and don’t want to be restricted by # of travel days. Can students get discounts? I heard from someone the rate was like $10 for a point-to-point ticket. Is this true, is is it more? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
