Actually, I did. But it’s mostly because I have family there and don’t mind the run-down South feel of things. There’s some great things about NO, but I can see how an outsider would see the dirt first and the culture second.

I agree 100% some places are bad and downright trashy. But on the other hand I have yet to go to any major city where is no "bad part of town".

Some might say Seoul is a total disaster. Actually, it has all the qualifications – charming residential areas, tall buildings, diverse social classes, and great public transportation – and more. It’s just that the way they are all put together is less than graceful.
