Prague to Poland
Sat, 09/15/2007 - 13:53
Hey does anyone know if its possible to go to Krakow Poland from Prague. How long would the train ride be and everything. I want to be able to have time to go see Auschwitz and then fly back home to Florence.
There should be 2 or 3 connections per day, the fastest will take 7-8 hours.
7h42m to be exact
Check the website from the Czech Railways for a timetable: http://www.cd.cz/static/eng/
You can use the German rail website: http://reiseauskunft… for schedules anywhere in Europe.
A little variation on this post. My sister and I want arrive in Warsaw, travel to Krakow, then Prague and return to Warsaw (2 weeks in total starting Nov 8) for our flight out. Is rail the best way to go? What about rideshares, buses and cheap flights (of which I couldn’t find)?
Any help would be great!
Elana
Looking forward to Israel, Egypt, Jordan and India in the fall!!
If you can’t find cheap flights, then train is probably the fastest and most comvortable option.
Do you know of any airlines that fly from poland to prague? I checked which budget and easyjet, but nada. Or which website is the best for train travel? The german one was confusing. Should I just wait to get there, or is November sometimes busy?
Looking forward to Israel, Egypt, Jordan and India in the fall!!
CSA Czech Airlines has 3 connections a day between Warsaw and Prague. A single trip will do about 70 euros. www.csa.cz
LOT Polish Airlines has connections between Warsaw and Krakow (single trip 40 euros) and Warsaw and Prague (90 euros). www.lot.com
