Prague Pub Crawl?
Mon, 05/05/2008 - 12:14
Has anyone done a pub crawl in Prague? If so, where did you find out about it? Was it worth the time? What was the average age of the group? Thanks in advance.

Did one against my will (because my friends wanted to) a few years ago, dont remember the name of the company, but there are fliers for that kind of thing all over the tourist area of the city, most hostels can probably sign you up. The only pro about it was going to some interesting bars that I wouldn’t have otherwise visited, and they didnt actually seem that touristy. But being led around like a sheep never worth the money IMO. Cant remember exactly, but it seems like the avg age was 25-30, maybe older.
I’ll probably just try to find somthing when im there. I like the crawls because like you said, you get to see a few bars you normally wouldnt. Thanks!
Prague has this one bar, I don’t know where it is, or what’s it called, but make sure to find it!
It has many levels, and different rooms, and all the walls are like rock, and it just keeps going further and further down deeper.
The Prague Underground pub crawl will change your life! They meet at Bohemia Bagel in Old Town at 8:30 every night. Free beer and wine for 1 hour, three bars with a shot at each bar, and the entry to a club. And a T-Shirt!!!!!! Just look for the flyer with the drunk girl in your hostel.
www.thecrawl.cz has a pretty decent deal, and it appears they run 365 days a year. The video was fricken hilarious,
We visited 2 in the old town, but we left after we heard what they charge for drinks @ the bars you are led to.
Then we took the Zizkov Pub Crawl(sth like that), which takes you to some authentic bars and clubs, where you will be only slightly overcharged.

Unfortunately this professional pub crawl for serious crawlers doesn’t have a gimmicky bear costume and an inept commentator/side-kick, nor does it offer bagels but this pub crawl is an actual business, has it’s own bar and carries a level of hands-on service that would prompt fathers to allow their daughters to binge for the night under the supervision of these professionals.
BravoTV found them out on the town one random night:

Until now no one’s mentioned Prague Pub Crawl…but everyone’s doing it.
I wrote an extensive article about Prague on my blog, including lots of tips on bars, restaurants and nightlife. Prague is a place where it is easy to get ripped off and end up having a horribly disapointing holiday. I’ve been going there for 6 years and hated it through all of my earlier visits until I started finding the best places to go.
Have a look at my Guide to Prague
Hope it helps!
