Proposing in Paris

I am looking for a nice restaraunt to take my girlfriend before I pop the question can anyone suggest any.

Then spend about three or four days there. Don’t pop the question then say, hey, is it time to catch our next train?
Remember, you can always go back to Europe, don’t rush your trip, especially if it is to be this meaningful.
Obviously you’re looking for someplace romantic…. but can you narrow it down a little? For example, how much do you want to spend? Some of the really top restaurants in Paris might cost 500 euros or more for dinner for two!
One that comes to mind is the Toupary at 2 Quai Du Louvre 75001 (1st arrondissement). It’s on the top floor of one of the department stores (can’t remember which), has fantastic views over the Seine and the food’s not bad either. Nearest metro station is Pont Neuf. Louvre-Rivoli is also close.
Just found it – it’s on the fifth floor of La Samaritaine department store: http://www.lasamarit…
