Queens Day 2010
Sat, 11/21/2009 - 11:41
My friend and I are planning on attending Queens Day in April 2010 and we’re wondering what to expect. It looks like a lot of fun and we’re excited to experience the mayheim of the holiday but would love any insight on what to plan for or do, aside from wearing the color orange, which we will most definitely do. Thanks in advance!

I don’t think you make plans for Queen’s Day, I think you just do. Stroll ‘round, find out where the concert stages are, buy some junky trinkets off of someone’s blanket on the sidewalk, eat frites, drink Heineken or Amstel, and be merry-juana. Maybe you’ll get lucky and hitch a ride on someone’s skow. Go to the website for “Amsterdam – The Channels” to find better information on Amsterdam, particularly Queen’s Day activities.
Thanks Crystal, I will definitely check out that site and just plan on going with the flow on Queens Day for sure!!
