Hey there! Ok everyone keeps telling me that point to point tickets are cheaper in europe than advertised on the website — Now i personally think the eurail pass is really expensive for what it offers , yet because i havent been to europe i don’t know if i really need it or not. Roughly how much are point to point tickets within germany? I am plannign to see several german cities — btu i was thinkign of getting a smaller rail pass (say 6 days) to use for longer trips between countries) — how about bus tickets? Is there any website for this? I think the eurail pass works out to about $70 per day which seems really expensive but i have no idea what a realistic point to point ticket is worth. Any europeans out there to clarify this? Lets say i want to travel halfway across germany.
