For quite a while now I’ve been hearing these contradicting stories about Russia.  I’ve heard that the economy is booming and life is great, and still I hear stories about how the employment sucks, the mafia is in control, etc.

Just found a documentary that&nbsputs things into&nbsperspective.  Its pretty crazy, the reporter actually gets kidnaped by a cop, but the cop gets drunk and passes out.  check it out if you get the chance.

Russia must not be doing much right.  I just read an article in todays local paper about young conscripts in the army being forced into prostitution.

I still wonder if the super bowl ring was a gift.  First it wasn’t, then it was.  If it wasn’t, Putin made us look pretty wimpy as a country that wouldn’t stand up for it’s countryman.
