How reliable is the Rome-Naples train? My guide books say it is only 2 hours but I need to know if I should plan to get there much earlier. I need to catch a flight there to Athens on June 21 (Rome-Athens is all booked up according to Europebyair). I fly out at noon. I was thinking of leaving very early in the morning of June 21 to naples, as early as possible so as to avoid any possible delays with the train. Should I even consider leaving from Rome the day before? BTW I realize naples would be a good place to sightsee but I don’t know if I will have time…
