Ryanair 0£/0€/$0 sale.
Fri, 04/25/2008 - 13:00
Easy currency conversion sale:
Right now Ryanair is offering quite a bit of its routes at 0 (whatever your local currency is) + taxes, fees, and hidden fees.

Not bad
But that’s not the cheapest possible airfare. Have you ever managed to get an airline ticket for minus $27 (plus airport taxes)?
I did!
If you have any questions about Prague or Czech and Slovak republics, ask me.
If you only want to search train or bus connection within Czech&Slovakia and/or to neighboring countries, use www.cp.sk or www.idos.cz search engines. For domestic transport, they also show prices.
what do you mean “0”? Can I just take the flight anywhere they fly?
Thats interesting?
London, Brussels, Basel, Paris, London
Well, the easiest way to find out is to visit ryanair.com.
0 fare does not mean free ticket, because they still add taxes, from about 10 Euro and up each way, plus the usual Credit Card fee.
This promo seems to include many of their routes, but definitely not all of them.
In addition, there is another promo: very limited number of routes is on sale for 1 penny each way that includes taxes.
And how do you get it for -ve 27 USD?

I just managed to find a special discount. I needed to travel from Kosice to Prague and back and didn’t really care about the mode of transport, just the price. And I found out that return ticket is offered for only SKK 749 (USD 36). That seemed weird to me, since I know that just the airport fees would come up to approx. 1200 SKK (USD 57). To by amusement, on my reservation, the price of the ticket itself was
449 SKK, the taxes were 1198 SKK and so the total price I paid was -449+1198=749 SKK [
] I still don’t understand the economics behind that sellout. So they donate money so that they can get you to fly with them? [:]If you have any questions about Prague or Czech and Slovak republics, ask me.

I just bought one of these routes… it started at $0, but it still ended up being like 60 bucks for two people after all the bullshit fees.
