Schengen Area/United Kingdom
Thu, 08/06/2009 - 23:23
Hi all,
Have been looking into the Schengen Visa agreement and from what I’ve read the UK doesnt appear to be included in the 90 day stay area…
Can anyone confirm this?
I’m assuming that if this is right, the time i spend in london/UK at the beginning of my trip will not detract from the 90 days I can spend in the Schengen countries?
The UK currently is not part of the Schengen Border. US passport holders, for example, have up to 180 days to play tourist in the UK, and up to 90 in all Schengen countries combined. Check requirements here: http://www.delta.com…

If your an Aussie passport holder you can stay in the UK for up to 180 days Visa free. This is in addition to the 90 days you can stay in the Schergen zone.
Cheers

British nationals can stay in the Schengen countries for as long as they wish.
