Hi Guys

I am having Schengen Visa which i got from Italian Embassy in Pakistan. Its valid for one year from 15 Sep 2008 to 15 Sep 2009. The visa is of type C + D , with multiple entry. I am planning for Euro trip to visit different countries in Schengen states.

But today i was just looking for the paper which i received from the Italian Embassy with the visa , which states that.

National Visa is valid for long stay in Italy and Only or a short transit (maximum 5 days) in Schengen States.

I was planning to visit different countries, staying in italy for few days and spending 3 weeks in other Schengen States, but now confused about the status of the Visa. Can someone provide me assistance regarding this.

Jade, I moved this because you had it posted in “comments and feedback” which is for comments and feedback about how the site is designed and how it works. Visa questions are usually posted in the “packing” forum, although that doesn’t make a lot of sense, either.

Hopefully you’ll get more traffic on this question here.

When you are issued the Schengen Multiple Visa D +C type. What is the validity of the c type visa, to visit other schengen states when issued wid D +C.

Its 90 days from the date of issue of the visa, or 90 days from the arrival date in the first Schengen States.
