Hello,
I’m going to Scotland for ten days; starting in Edinburgh and ending in Glasgow. I will buy an "Explorer" pass, 5 days of unlimited coach travel in ten days, and would like to see some nature as well as the cities. I actually prefer staying in small places. But I have no clue as to where to go; I thought of going Aberdeen-Inverness and then on to some small places in the Highlands or on the islands…any ideas? I don’t want to go to places that are too crowded, and I don’t have a very big budget so I try to go where there are hostels or cheap b&b’s. If you have any suggestions, or know of any must-sees, please tell me.
Question two: I’m a vegetarian, and prefer to eat vegan food (I’m slowly becoming a vegan), do you know of vegetarian places to stay or to eat in Scotland? I will mostly make my own food, but it could be nice to eat out once in a while.
Travel friends are also welcome.
Thanks in advance!
