Shrooms in Amsterdam?
Fri, 03/26/2010 - 16:42
I know it was legal a few years ago but I’v heard the laws have changed recently.
Does anyone have any incite on this? I’m hoping to be able to get them in a shop compared to off someone on the street. Does any know if shops still sell them?
Thanks for your help
I am leaving from Vancouver, Canada with $3000 for 27 days

The Netherlands did crack down on shrooms due to some tourist deaths. I do not partake, but I did read and watch the news when I lived there in the Fall. I do not know if they are currently available in coffee shops, but I would doubt it.
They were never available in coffee shops, but rather “smart shops” . As of the last few years they have been banned. Sorry.

last guy was totally wrong, u can but truffles in smart shops almost anywhere in the city ring. they are the roots of the mushrooms. the law states it is illegal to sell any mushroom that grows above gorund. since the roots dont, not illegal. u need about 10-15 grms for a good trip, 10-15 euros.
why not just stay home and get stoned? Would be a lot cheaper

@420 Didn’t know the loophole. Last time I was in Amsterdam was 2008 before the ban. Though I read somewhere that the city closed the smart shops. When’s the last time you were there?
