Sicily to Greece?
Thu, 04/07/2011 - 15:56
What would be the best route from Palermo to either Athens or another island of Greece? Whichever is cost effective but convenient would be great, thanks!
I am leaving from san francisco with $3000 for 35 days
Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Nice, Cinque Terre, Venice, Rome, Palermo, Athens

You might be able to piece together 2 tickets via an intermediate airport. For example…
Ticket 1.
Ticket 2.
You’ll have to check timetables to see if you can find a match to where you want to go. Be aware that Ryanair—coming up cheapest currently on some of these hops—can nickel and dime and fee you to death, so read their conditions before booking. And leave plenty of time between tickets if making your own connection. If your first flight gets you there too late for whatever reason, then you’re SOL. Maybe plan a day or 2 stopover in the connecting city?
