What is it? no idea and do i really need one? i have my regular pack but whats this all about?

"Daypack" is just a term for a smaller backpack like the ones people use on a daily basis, to carry books to school, etc. Chances are you already own one Example: http://www.altrec.co…

It’s nice to have one so that when you head out from the hostel for a day of sightseeing you can put your camera, a bottle of water, etc, in it. You wouldn’t want to carry around your huge pack all day.

Take a day pack. You’ll realize how valuable it is once your out travelling.
