I was wondering whether a sleeping bag was really essential for travelling around Europe. I know it depends on what kind of accomodation im looking for, but has anyone survived without one? I am mainly looking to stay in hostels, and i’ve heard most of them had beds and all you need is sheets and a pillow. I ask this because a sleeping bag takes a fair bit of a space in a backpack. Then again it is cold so the warmth of a sleeping bag would be good
