I am headed for Paris/Amsterdam/Germany on December 28th, and am leaving on January 15th. needless to say, I expect it to be very cold over there. Here’s my problem: I am staying in youth hostels the entire time, and I have read that they dont allow (FOr wahtever reason) sleeping bags. Well, I have a very nice GOOSE DOWN sleeping bag, that unzips into a blanket (Its not a mummy bag, it unzips fully). I was wondering if I would be able to get away with using THAT, seeing as it is essentialy a LARGE GOOSEDOWN comforter/blanket. ANy comments about this? I appreciate any and all.
